Over the last few months a number of AEW contracts have expired as names like Ethan Page, Arn Anderson, Jake Hager and more have parted ways with the company. Now it seems that another familiar name could potentially be on their way out as Lucha Libre Online is reporting that Penta’s contract is set to expire this summer.
According to the report the former AEW World Tag Team Champion’s contract is set to expire sometime between August and September. It’s also being reported that WWE would be interested in him if his deal does indeed expire.
“Pentagon Jr’s contract with #AEW will expire this year between August and September. The #WWE would be interested in him.”
Penta is one name who has been with All Elite Wrestling and he’s achieved success with the company as one half of the Lucha Bros. He also managed to win the AEW Trios Championship alongside Rey Fenix and PAC.
