Over the years fans have seen a lot of commentators sit at the announce booth on WWE programming, and some of them have been former wrestlers who joined the broadcast team. You never know who might end up putting on a headset and it looks like a former WWE Tag Team Champion is interested in joining the team.
Recently during an episode of his Oh You Didn’t Know? podcast Road Dogg openly stated that he would love to do commentary for WWE, possibly as part of the pre-show panel for premium live events.
“I think I’m pretty good at talking. I would love, before I get too old, to do commentary. I would love to do the (pre-show panel for WWE PLEs).”
Road Dogg spent a number of years performing on screen and he currently works in a behind the scenes role as the Senior Vice President of Live Events for WWE. Do you think WWE should let him do commentary? Sound off in the comments below.
