WWE recently shook things up with the 2023 WWE Draft, but there are a number of stars who weren’t drafted because they’re currently out of action. Bobby Roode has been sitting on the sidelines since last year, and it was recently reported that he wasn’t expected to return anytime soon because he’s still recovering from neck fusion surgery.
Now it seems that Bobby Roode’s return has likely been pushed back even further as the former United States Champion recently confirmed on social media that he underwent neck fusion surgery for a second time. Roode posted the following on Instagram:
“Another trip around the sun and another trip to Birmingham Alabama. Quite a way to celebrate my birthday lol. Had a C4/5 cervical fusion to go along with the C5/6 fusion back in November. Most importantly it was a success thanks to the man himself Dr Andy Cordover and the first class staff here at @andrews_sports_medicine Big thank you @deneane__17 for being my rock throughout this entire process. It’s been a challenging year to say the least ❤️ Road to recovery part 2!”
Stay tuned for more updates on Bobby Roode’s recovery as they become available.
