Former Champion Turned Down Offer To Return At The WWE Royal Rumble

Over the last few years WWE has released a number of wrestlers and back in 2021 the company decided to part ways with The IIconics. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions continued to wrestle in Impact Wrestling after they were released, but neither Peyton Royce nor Billie Kay have returned to WWE.

When she was asked about a potential WWE return during an appearance on Ring The Belle, Peyton Royce indicated that she’s open to the idea while explaining why The IIconics previously turned down an offer to return at the Royal Rumble.

“Yeah, I’m open to it, for sure. I would love that. It’d be so good to catch up. I mean, it’s the Royal Rumble. We said no last time because we were still pretty hurt about [getting released]. But I feel healed now, and I feel like I’d love to do that if the opportunity came.”

Do you want to see The IIconics return to WWE at some point in the future? Sound off in the comments below.
