There’s a plethora of talent on the roster, but unfortunately you never know when someone might get taken out due to injury. Former United States Champion Samoa Joe has been out of action for some time, and he’s currently working as part of the commentary team on Monday Night Raw.
Even though Samoa Joe has received a lot of praise for his work at the commentary table, it looks like he could be gearing up for a return to the ring.
MVP recently spoke to Newsweek about who he wants to face in WWE, and he noted that Samoa Joe is set to return to action.
“What I understand, ole Samoa Joe is gonna be back in action and over the years Samoa Joe and I have been great friends, but we’ve never ever faced each other. At this stage of my career, I think I feel a lot more confident facing him, knowing that I got Bobby and Shelton backing me up—but I also know that wouldn’t phase Joe in the least.”
