WWE has seemingly been in acquisition mode over the last few months and there’s no telling who might show up on WWE programming. Recently it’s been rumored that WWE had interest in NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille, but it no longer looks like she’s WWE bound.
PWInsider is reporting that there were discussions between the two sides, and Kamille was at one point offered a NXT deal. However, it’s being said that talks are not moving forward between Kamille and WWE.
It’s also being reported that Kamille is in deep discussions with All Elite Wrestling. Currently AEW is seen as a strong destination for Kamille as it will also allow her to pursue acting work which is said to be a major goal of hers.
There’s currently no word on what AEW could have planned for Kamille if she does indeed sign with the company. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
