Goldberg has been a free agent for a few months now, but he’s made it clear that he’s not done wrestling. The Hall of Famer has stated that he wants to compete in a retirement match, and if WWE isn’t willing to make it happen then he will look into other options.
So far WWE has given no indication that they’re looking to book a retirement match for Goldberg, but Tony Khan of AEW has said the idea of Goldberg appearing in All Elite Wrestling is interesting, and Goldberg has also mentioned that his retirement match could take place in Israel.
There’s currently no word on who Goldberg could face if the match does come to fruition, but Ryback is more than willing to be Goldberg’s last opponent. The Former WWE Intercontinental Champion officially challenged Goldberg to a match when he posted the following on Twitter:

During Ryback’s dominant run in WWE he was often compared to Goldberg, so it seems that a match between the two would make sense. Whether or not it will happen remains to be seen, but clearly Ryback is game.
