A few weeks ago the wrestling world started talking about Jade Cargill’s status with All Elite Wrestling as it was reported that her contract had expired and she had finished up with the company. All signs pointed to Jade Cargill joining WWE and today it was confirmed that the former TBS Champion has signed a multi-year deal with the company.
WWE posted the following announcement confirming the signing:
“STAMFORD, Conn., September 26, 2023 – WWE today announced it has signed Jade Cargill to a multi-year contract. The news was first reported by ESPN.
Cargill, a standout performer who has earned accolades as an industry-renowned talent, will begin training today at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.”
Triple H also hyped up Jade Cargill’s arrival in WWE with the following tweet:
“A dominant athlete who’s here to change the game…
Join me in welcoming the newest @WWE Superstar, @Jade_Cargill, to the @WWEUniverse.”
ESPN is reporting that Jade Cargill will officially start with WWE today at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. During her time with AEW, Jade Cargill became the longest reigning TBS Champion with a 508 day reign. She also went 60 straight matches with no losses before she was finally defeated by Kris Statlander. Stay tuned for updates.
