Several All Elite Wrestling stars have jumped ship to WWE over the last few years and recently there’s been a lot of talk about what the future holds for The Lucha Bros.
It’s been rumored that WWE had interest in the former AEW World Tag Team Champions, and now Cory Hays of PW Nexus is reporting that Rey Fenix and Penta have signed a multi-year deal with WWE. According to the report The Lucha Bros. are expected to join the main roster when they debut on WWE programming.
The Lucha Bros. have been an integral part of the tag team division in All Elite Wrestling from the very beginning as they made their first official appearance for the company in February of 2019. Since then they’ve gone on to become one time AEW World Tag Team Champions, one time AEW World Trios Champions and Rey Fenix also managed to capture the AEW International Championship as a singles competitor.
