Former AEW Star Reveals Why They Left The Company

When All Elite Wrestling fist launched in 2019 a number of wrestlers were announced for the roster including Frankie Kazarian. As part of SCU, Frankie Kazarian went on to become one half of the first ever AEW World Tag Team Champions, but last year he parted ways with the company and joined Impact Wrestling.

Kazarian recently spoke to Eric Bischoff for an AdFreeShows.com interview and he explained that he didn’t feel his talent was being valued in AEW.

“That’s the one thing that all of us are running out of. My time in professional wrestling, in my eyes, is long from being done. I wanted to give that time to somebody that would value it,” he said. “I felt at the time in AEW, my time, my contributions, and my talent was not being valued and that’s okay because I had the opportunity to take my time and give it to somebody else and that’s exactly what I did.”

Frankie Kazarian also clarified that he had an opportunity to roll over a two year option on his contract, but he decided to go elsewhere. Kazarian further explained his decision when he added, “I’m not a guy that’s wired to sit on the bench, you know? I’m a guy that should be in the starting lineup. It’s not being egotistical to say that because it’s true and I proved that.”
