Over the last few years All Elite Wrestling has signed a number of wrestlers, but in recent months several AEW contracts have expired. It was recently revealed that Brian Pillman Jr’s deal with All Elite Wrestling had expired and that he would not be signing a new deal with the promotion.
At this point it’s not exactly clear what the future holds for Brian Pillman Jr. but it’s worth noting that the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the former AEW star was spotted training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando on 7/13.
Fightful Select is also reporting that multiple sources confirmed Brian Pillman Jr. was spotted at the Performance Center. It was also confirmed that he hasn’t signed with the company, but he was working out at the Performance Center and what he was doing was more of a “get to know you” type meeting.
Brian Pillman Jr. first started making appearances on AEW programming in 2019, and it was announced in 2021 that he had signed a deal with the company. He spent the majority of his run with AEW working with Griff Garrison in a tag team known as The Varsity Blondes. Stay tuned for updates.
