Former AEW Star Recently Got Tryout With WWE

Things change quick in the world of professional wrestling and recently it was revealed that Brian Pillman Jr’s contract with All Elite Wrestling expired which makes him a free agent. Things got even more interesting when it was reported that the former AEW star was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

PWInsider is now reporting that WWE brought Brian Pillman Jr. into Orlando for a tryout and he was there from last Wednesday through yesterday. There’s currently no word on what the reaction was to the tryout and whether or not WWE has plans to sign Brian Pillman Jr. moving forward.

Last year after Triple H took over WWE creative the company signed a number of wrestlers and also brought back several talents who were released over the last few years. However, the company hasn’t been nearly as proactive when it comes to signing wrestlers since Vince McMahon returned to the company back in January.

Do you think WWE should sign Brian Pillman Jr.? Sound off in the comments below.
