Over the last few years fans have seen a number of former WWE stars join AEW, but it’s not often that you see former AEW stars make the jump to WWE. Earlier this summer Brian Pillman Jr. parted ways with AEW after his contract expired, and shortly after it was reported that he was spotted at the WWE Performance Center.
PWInsider is reporting that Brian Pillman Jr. officially started with WWE NXT this week. Pillman took part in a WWE tryout last month, and finished up with his independent appearances earlier this month.
It doesn’t sound like fans will be seeing Brian Pillman Jr. on TV any time soon as it’s being reported that there’s no rush for him to debut on TV. The initial plan is to get Brian Pillman Jr. into the Performance Center system so he can get his feet under him.
Stay tuned for more updates on Brian Pillman Jr. and his status with WWE as they become available.
