A lot of big moves have been made over the last few months and now it seems that a former AEW Women’s Champion could be WWE bound. It was reported last month that Mariah May is in a contract year with AEW, and May has been off TV since she lost to Toni Storm at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view on March 9th.

Mariah May recently got people talking when she posted a picture of an airplane window in an Instagram story along with a quote which said, “You can’t make the wrong decision because every decision leads you to where you’re supposed to be.”

Dave Meltzer recently shared an update on Mariah May’s status on Wrestling Observer Radio and noted that there are people in WWE who, “know she wants to go there.” The belief is that Mariah May’s AEW contract is set to expire this summer.

Bryan Alvarez added that he was under the impression she originally signed a two year deal with All Elite Wrestling, and the impression within AEW is that Mariah May will be heading to WWE.

Mariah May first debuted on AEW programming in November of 2023 and she went on to become Toni Storm’s protégé. Storm and May had one of the more high profile feuds on AEW after May turned on Storm last year, and they finally wrapped their feud up at Revolution last month.

Stay tuned for updates.
