The day after WrestleMania 39 it was announced that WWE would be acquired by Endeavor, and earlier this week the deal finally closed. WWE and UFC have merged to form one publicly traded company known as TKO which unfortunately means that cuts will be made following the merger.
PWInsider is now reporting that Jamie Horowitz, whose title was Executive Vice President of Development and Digital, is no longer with the company. It was noted that the departure is due to the layoffs following Endeavor’s acquisition of WWE.
Jamie Horowitz joined WWE in June of 2021, and he previously worked for DAZN as the Executive Vice President of Global Content. It was also noted that his departure is somewhat surprising because Horowitz was brought into the company by Nick Khan.
