Over the weekend Samoa Joe challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship at the Worlds End pay-per-view, and when it was all said and done it was Samoa Joe who walked out with the gold.
Shortly after he won the AEW World Championship, MJF introduced his own version of the title which he dubbed the Triple B. After Samoa Joe won the belt on Saturday he indicated during the post-show press conference that a new version of the title would be introduced soon.
Fightful Select reports a new era in AEW is underway and the new title belt is one of the big changes on the horizon for the company. AEW has updated the belt with a new logo as well as options for side plates. A photo of the redesigned belt can be seen below.
