It was a big weekend for AEW as the annual Revolution pay-per-view aired live and Sting wrestled his final match in the main event. Sting & Darby Allin picked up a big win over The Young Bucks to retain the AEW Tag Team Titles, but now that Revolution is over all eyes are looking ahead to this week’s episode of Dynamite.
All Elite Wrestling will be giving their look a bit of a makeover as it’s been confirmed that a new set will debut tonight. The first look at the new AEW set, which includes tunnels once again, can be seen below.
Michael Mansury, AEW’s Head of Global Production, spoke to Sports Illustrated about the new set while hinting that the idea was to make an advanced version of some elements that fans have already seen on AEW programming.
“We deployed parts of that at Grand Slam, and I wanted to expand upon it and make it bigger. We have so many elements coming that fans are really going to enjoy. This past Sunday, we reintroduced the EVP elevator for The Young Bucks. Tonight you’ll see an enhanced evolution of the past. There is a nice tip of the cap that brought us to the dance, and a look that will really strike a chord with our fans.”
It’s been confirmed that Will Ospreay will be facing off against Kyle Fletcher tonight and Riho will go one on one with Kris Statlander on Dynamite this week.
Stay tuned for updates.
