First Look At John Cena’s Mermaid Character From Barbie Movie Revealed

For years John Cena was the face of the WWE, but nowadays Cena is focusing on his acting career. Cena has landed some roles in some major Hollywood films and this summer he’s set to make an appearance in the upcoming Barbie movie.

When it was first revealed that John Cena would be appearing in the Barbie movie people couldn’t help, but wonder what type of role he would be playing, and it was later confirmed he plays a mermaid in the film. Now the first look at John Cena’s Kenmaid has been revealed and a photo can be seen below.

Margot Robbie is the star of the Barbie movie and she recently revealed during an interview with Chris Van Vliet exactly how John Cena ended up landing a role in the film.

“It happened while we were shooting in London. I ran into him at a restaurant and we’d worked together before. Actually, I ran into him because I went to pay the bill and they were like, ‘John Cena already took care of it’ and I was like, ‘What? Where is he?’ I mean he’s a big guy, but I was like, ‘He’s hard to hide.'”

“Anyways, I found him and I was like, ‘What are you doing here?’ He was shooting at [Warner Bros. Studios] Leavesden where we shot the film as well and I was like, ‘That’s where we’re shooting “Barbie”‘ and I was like, ‘Do you wanna come be a merman in “Barbie?”‘ He was like, ‘Uh, yeah’ and I was like, ‘Surely he’s not gonna agree to it just like that,’ and he did. He’s so awesome like that.”
