Back in August the stars of All Elite Wrestling took center stage at the All Out pay-per-view, and Riho and Nyla Rose earned the right to face off in the first ever AEW Women’s Championship match.
Rose and Riho went one on one on the first ever episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT, and it was Riho who walked out with the gold.
Both competitors brought it all in a hard fought match, but in the end Riho put Nyla Rose away with double running knees to the face to become the first ever AEW Women’s Champion.
After the match Riho was being interviewed when Nyla Rose attacked her. Rose continued to beat Riho down until Kenny Omega came down to the ring and broke it up.
