The Royal Rumble is without a doubt one of WWE’s most exciting events of the year as it kicks off WrestleMania season, and soon WrestleMania season will be upon us.
This week former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston appeared on SmackDown, and during a backstage interview he announced himself as the first entrant in the 2023 men’s Royal Rumble match.
After Kofi announced that he’s entering the Royal Rumble he was asked about his thoughts on the SmackDown World Cup, but he was interrupted by Imperium. Kofi Kingston challenged either Giovanni Vinci or Ludwig Kaiser to a match, and then Gunther stepped up to accept the challenge.
The Royal Rumble will take place on January 28, 2023. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
