Sunday night at SummerSlam Finn Balor defeated Seth Rollins to become the first WWE Universal Champion. Unfortunately for Balor he dislocated his shoulder during the match, after Seth Rollins powerbombed him into the barricade outside the ring.
WWE officials are currently trying to determine if he will need surgery. At this point it’s unknown how long Finn Balor will be out of action.
WWE Raw COO Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley have announced that Finn will vacate the Universal Championship due to his injury.
