The Miz is on a roll but that’s really nothing new for him. The A-Lister had one of the best years in 2017 holding the Intercontinental Title and starring on both Raw and Total Divas alongside The Miztourage and his lovely wife Maryse (The Miztourage wasn’t on Total Divas much).
The former MTV star started in reality television then transitioned into pro wrestling and returned to do reality television and wrestling at the same time which is honestly quite impressive.
But the host of the Mizzies might have bitten off more than he can chew when he messed with Finn Balor and Seth Rollins. He chastised them for working in bingo halls referring to their indie wrestling roots and even mispronounced Balor’s former name as “Prince Nevitt” which Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio this week might have been an honest unplanned error on The Miz’s part or else Michael Cole would have made reference to it.
Finn Balor certainly heard The Miz butcher his former name and he’s having a bit of fun in the process with that line about bingo halls. As he prepares for WrestleMania it’s nice to see Finn Balor has time to go through old photographs because he uploaded a string of Instagram messages illustrating what it was like for him to work in those bingo halls.
I highly suggest you check out these awesome pictures because they’ll either educate you or allow you to take a walk down memory lane. He uploaded multiple photos per Instagram post and each one of them illustrates an amazing portion of time captured forever in a photograph.
Seth Rollins could do a slide show of his own with his amazing accomplishments when he was Tyler Black which makes this kind of a perfect match in a way. It’s two stars from the indies coming in and facing WWE’s “Golden Boy” because The Miz supposedly never wrestled in the indies when in reality he did in Ultimate Pro Wrestling for a time before appearing on Tough Enough.
Either way, the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania is certainly one you don’t want to take a bathroom break during because you really shouldn’t miss it.
