Finn Balor took some time off from professional wrestling after he was defeated by The Fiend at WWE SummerSlam back in August, but one Wednesday night Balor made his surprise return to NXT and he confronted Adam Cole.
During an interview with Newsweek, Finn was asked if he’s back with NXT full time and he said he wants to break down boundaries.
“Right now that’s what it means. I’m going to wrestle whenever, whoever I want. That’s something I’ve been chasing for quite some time in my career. I don’t believe in any boundaries be it weight class, country, promotion… And I want to break those boundaries. I’m here at NXT to do that.”
If Finn feuds with Adam Cole going forward then that means he will also have to deal with The Undisputed Era. While talking about going up against the group the former NXT Champion teased that he may need to recruit some help.
“It’s no problem. I’ve been part of a group before, I’ve been one of those guys who has been an individual [performer] for a very long time. But maybe you need a group to face Undisputed Era, we’ll see.”
