Finn Balor has achieved success in WWE as he’s a former NXT Champion and he was the first ever Universal Champion. Prior to signing with WWE he wrestled all over the world, so he knows what lies beyond World Wrestling Entertainment.
Over the last few years fans have seen a number of WWE Superstars part ways with the company, and during an appearance on the Cheap Heat podcast Balor shared the advice that he gives to wrestlers who are looking to leave.
“Yeah, for sure, and I tell them to go. There’s a whole other world; I tell them to go. Sometimes we get caught up in the bubble that’s WWE, and there’s a whole world of wrestling outside there. If someone doesn’t want to be here, they should go. If you don’t want to work in WWE, don’t be here. … For me, I want to be to here, so that’s why I’m here.”
Finn Balor and Damien Priest were defeated by Rey and Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam over the weekend, but it appears that the feud between the Mysterios, Edge and The Judgement Day is far from over. It’s not clear where things will go from here, but Balor has expressed interest in a singles match with Rey Mysterio at Clash at the Castle next month. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
