New Year’s Eve is upon us which means that 2017 will be here soon. The stars of the WWE are sharing their resolutions with fans on Twitter, and the first ever Universal Champion, Finn Balor, recently revealed that his resolution is simply to return to Raw.
It’s probably safe to say that Finn Balor’s resolution will be realized as he’s said that he’s on track to return for WrestleMania 33. However, during a recent interview Finn Balor teased that he wouldn’t be opposed to entering the Royal Rumble if he’s 100 percent by then.
“If the day of the Royal Rumble Vince McMahon says, ‘You got your gear with you?’ then I’m sure I’ll be around,” Finn Balor said with a smile. But pointing to his injured shoulder, he added, “It’s not something I want to risk unless I’m 100 percent confident that this is 100 percent.”
Current Raw Women’s Champion is looking ahead to 2017, but she’s also looking back on the incredible year that she had in 2016.
Charlotte shared a photo on Instagram showing that her goals for 2016 were to defend her title at WrestleMania 32, main event a pay-per-view, bring back the Women’s Championship and she accomplished all of those things. The Raw Women’s Champion posted the following:
“Above were my 2016 goals. I remember posting this and thinking “hmmm, are these goals really attainable.” A year later & the answer is…. YES. I accomplished everything I put my mind to & more with a lot of help along the way ”
