Finn Balor has already achieved so much more than many stars who are on the Raw roster currently, as a former NXT Champion and the inaugural Universal Champion. Although it seems that a recent report about “The Demon” claiming that Vince McMahon doesn’t think he’s “over” enough with the WWE Universe to be able to face Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has led to a number of amusing Twitter updates from the Irish Superstar.
The most recent update saw Finn Balor responding to the new Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns as he tweeted out a challenge to the Raw roster to “step up” against him. It seems that Balor couldn’t resist but to Tweet another reference to these reports by stating that he wouldn’t just “step up” to the former World Champion, but he would “step OVER” him.
It is unknown if this was Finn Balor answering Reigns’ in some sort of open challenge ahead of Monday Night Raw tonight, but if it is, then it could mean that this is a completely new direction for Finn to be taking on WWE TV.
It seems that a new path is definitely needed for the former champion since the WWE Chairman doesn’t seem to want Balor to face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble, despite fans recently voting for The Demon to be the next superstar to step up and challenge The Beast.
