Sunday night at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, Finn Balor defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura on the kickoff show, and in the end it was Nakamura who walked away with the belt after he put down Balor with the Kinshasa.
Now it seems that Finn Balor will be taking time away from WWE.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Finn Balor has requested to take two months off. It’s not exactly clear why Balor is looking to take time off, but one source noted that the former Intercontinental Champion wants to “recharge.”
Finn Balor’s request was reportedly granted, and his time off is expected to start next month, possibly after SummerSlam.
