Business has certainly picked up for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture over the last few weeks as Seth Rollins unfortunately had to vacate the title due to injury. Rollins recently confirmed that he’s expected to be out of action for six months, and a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion is set to be crowned at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend.

CM Punk is set to face off against Jey Uso for the vacant title and everyone is waiting to see how things will play out. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that CM Punk is the favorite to walk out with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

It was noted that The Second City Saint seems to be the favorite to win the belt because Punk was heavily featured in the new WrestleMania 42 promotional material in a spot that was originally meant for Seth Rollins.

CM Punk is certainly no stranger to championship gold as he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship a few months ago when he defeated Gunther in the night 1 main event at SummerSlam. Unfortunately for Punk his title reign was short-lived as Seth Rollins successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract just a few minutes after Punk defeated The Ring General.
