Earlier this week The Rock called out one of his male co-stars on Instagram for being unprofessional. It was later revealed that the co-star was none other than Vin Diesel.
Tensions between The Rock and Vin Diesel have reportedly been high on the “Fast-8” set, and earlier this week the two had a meeting to hash things out but it’s being said that nothing was resolved.
TMZ dug a little deeper into the story and they’re reporting that the “Fast-8” crew has picked a side in the feud, and they’re siding with The Rock.
The Rock apparently has issues with Vin Diesel’s work ethic, and multiple crew members report that Vin Diesel was often 30 minutes to an hour late to shoot scenes.
It was also noted that Vin Diesel doesn’t like Monday morning 7am calls so the film’s production start time was switched to 10am to accommodate him. Vin reportedly criticized people’s acting on set and members of the crew felt that his arrogance was too much to deal with.
The Rock however has a good reputation on the set and he’s seen as a true professional who is easy to work with.
On a related note, WWE is polling fans on a potential match between The Rock and Vin Diesel.
So far 89% of the people who have voted said that they want to see Rock and Diesel face off at WrestleMania. The other two options were “A Hollywood producer’s office” or “Social Media.”
