WrestleMania season has kicked into full gear and at this point there’s no telling who we might see on WWE programming in the weeks to come. Recently there have been a lot of rumors regarding possible WWE returns with Steve Austin and Cody Rhodes being two of the names that have been getting attention as of late.
During a recent episode of the After The Bell podcast Corey Graves threw some more fuel on the fire when he teased that a familiar face may be returning before WWE’s biggest show of the year.
“And who knows, if the rumors do in fact prove to be true, we may have another familiar face back in the fold between now and The Showcase of the Immortals. This is one of those ones where: if you know, you know.
I’m not going to speak to it any longer. I’m going to feed the rumor mill, that’s what I’m doing, I’m feeding the rumor mill. I’m stoking the flames and I am pouring gas on the fire. If the rumors are true, I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
Recently Kevin Owens has been talking trash about the state of Texas and it’s been speculated that the trash talk is part of an angle that will culminate with a match against Steve Austin at WrestleMania. Cody Rhodes has also been referenced on recent WWE shows by names like The Miz and Edge, so it will be interesting to see who shows up in the near future.
