They say that anything can happen when you watch a professional wrestling show, and this week fans saw Monday Night Raw Superstar Seth Rollins make a surprise appearance on Friday Night SmackDown.
During the show Adam Pearce told WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns that he would be picking his opponent for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, and it was indicated that Rollins would be challenging The Tribal Chief for the belt.
The Usos successfully defended the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Titles against The New Day in the main event of SmackDown this week, and after the show was over Seth Rollins made his way to the ring. The Visionary was attacked by The Usos, but eventually Rollins got the upper hand and he hit both Jimmy and Jey with the stomp.

It’s worth noting that according to the official WWE on FOX Twitter account Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins has not officially been confirmed for the Royal Rumble. However, with Rollins seemingly being positioned against SmackDown’s top heel there’s some speculation that he could be turning face. We’ll just have to wait and see. Stay tuned for updates.
So, about THAT tweet, we may have jumped the gun but we REALLY hope @ScrapDaddyAP makes it official ‘cause we need it.
