When Jack Swagger first announced that he had requested his WWE release on Chael Sonnen’s podcast a few weeks ago, he expressed an interest in MMA. We recently spoke to the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion on Still Real Radio, and we asked him if he’s still interested in possibly pursuing MMA. The former WWE World Champion noted that it’s still something he’s considering.
“Yeah absolutely. I’m training right now. Not specifically towards anything, but everything at the same time. So, if you look at it from my perspective — former All-American, 10 years exposure on a big TV show; there’s a big opportunity there to make money. As long as you don’t get your face pounded in, and there’s a big chance of that happening, so, there’s a lot of reward to it. But of course this is no bulls**t, this is the real thing, so there’s a lot of risk with it as well. But I would definitely consider stepping in there. I think it would only help me.”
On this week’s episode of Still Real Radio, we’re talking to former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger about what’s next for his wrestling career, possibly going to Impact Wrestling, winning the World Title and more.
