When Bray Wyatt challenged Randy Orton to a House Of Horrors match it was a real head scratcher. Nobody could imagine exactly what a House Of Horrors match would entail. Some people were thinking it might be akin to a Lethal Lockdown match from TNA, but others were just leaving it to the grand possibilities of the unknown.
As it turns out, WWE might not even know exactly what a House Of Horrors match is going to be either. WWE has sent out a survey asking fans what they think the specialty match will entail. It will be for the WWE World Championship, that’s all we know for sure.
The list is full of several objects and scenarios that really gets our minds working. Once you look through this list you might actually have even less of a clue as to what WWE is planning for the gimmick match at Payback.
They included a survey with several options for fans to pick a wide array of weapons and situations. They even gave a write-in option at the bottom just in case there is a fan out there that might have a better idea.
Some of the options include:
- Cage
- Sheeple
- A match set outside the arena
- Darkness
- Mirrors
- Creepy/Scary
- Fire
- Projected Images
- Music
- Pitchforks
- Fog
- Other
- Nothing Different
The survey also asks fans to pick between a list of various weapons as well. Some of these weapons range from common to bizarre:
- Chainsaws
- Bugs
- Masks
- Snakes
- Costumes
- Axes
- Would prefer no weapons or objects
- Tables
- Chains
- Chairs
- Fire (again)
- Kendo Sticks
- Other
Now we’re not going to disparage WWE’s creative process, but using bugs and costumes as a weapon really makes us wonder exactly what kinds of bugs and costumes they’re talking about.
Well, at least it’s not a Judy Bagwell on a pole match. So we have that to be thankful for. We’re just going to have to tune into Payback to see exactly what they come up with.
Make it a triple ring match. Horrors in two rings include enemies of each competitor. Darkness outside of rings. Weapons like jars of bugs. Snakes. Sticks. Multiple rocking chairs. Main ring is the house of horrors. A half cage on either side. Kind of like lethal lockdown. Weapons of various kinds. And raise the stakes. If the legend killer wins put Mike rotunda in the ring. Only way to win is to crucify the opponent by cufflink all four appendages to the cage.
