Eva Marie was suspended back in August of 2016 due to a WWE Wellness Policy violation and she has yet to return to the ring. During her time away from WWE she’s been busy working on other projects, but she’s been updating fans through her social media accounts and her YouTube channel.
The former redhead recently answered some fan questions for a Q&A video and a fan asked her for some advice on how to stay sober. Eva Marie opened up about her problems with addiction and she offered some words of encouragement to the fan (via The Daily Star).
“I’m not sure if you guys know but I am in a recovery program. You absolutely have to carve out time for it. You have to remember how desperate and willing you were to get sober in the first place and never lose that feeling. I have an amazing sponsor and she keeps me in check. We talk weekly. It’s just like anything. You’ve got to want it bad enough. You need to be focused. It’s a life or death thing.”
You can check out the video below, she answers the question around the 2:30 mark.
Baron Corbin recently spoke to The Phoenix New Times and he was asked if he pays attention to fan reactions. Corbin has his fair share of fans out there, but like every wrestler trying to make a name for himself, he also has his fair share of haters. The SmackDown star noted that he doesn’t care what people have to say about him and he believes that’s what makes him successful.
“No, because I don’t really care. And that’s why I’m good at what I do, that’s why I’m good at my job, that’s why I’m successful. I’ve never really cared what people think of how I’m doing or what I’m doing. If they have a problem with it, they can either change their mind or they can tell me how they feel, but it’s just falling on deaf ears. And that’s what’s funny right now, too, is all these people who hated me and then I go out there and I think we steal the show at TLC [with Kalisto] and now people are like, “Oh wait, Baron Corbin’s good.” I don’t want them to change their opinion because someone else did. All those people who are negative can stay that way. It doesn’t fill my pockets more with their respect. Their respect doesn’t pay my bills. So I’m just going to continue to go out there and do what I do every single night.”
