Friday Eva Marie announced that he has parted ways with WWE, and WWE later released a statement saying that the two sides mutually agreed to part ways. But it appears that the decision might not have been as mutual as the statement has led people to believe.

Billi Bhatti of The Dirty Sheets recently tagged Road Dogg in a tweet asking about her WWE release, and Road Dogg had and interesting response. According to Brian “Road Dogg” James, it wasn’t WWE’s decision to get rid of Eva Marie, so it appears that she was the one who wanted to leave the company.
When asked about her departure Road Dogg responded with the following:
Charlotte joined SmackDown Live a few months ago during the Superstar Shake-up, and she’s gone through a bit of a character change. Charlotte is no longer an evil conniving queen, she’s now a tough babyface.
The former Raw Women’s Champion recently spoke to the Ottawa Citizen about making the switch from heel to face, and she admitted she feels more comfortable as a heel.
“Since I am a babyface now, I am going to put all my energy into being the best babyface ever. My comfort zone and where I feel most natural is being a heel. My character could stay the same and people like my character versus disliking it. It’s more me trying to figure out how that works and staying true to my character regardless of what side I’m on. I do feel more comfortable as a heel, but I’m taking the babyface challenge on as much as I can.”
