All Elite Wrestling and NXT have been going head to head on Wednesday nights since October of 2019, and while both sides have claimed victories in the ratings war, AEW Dynamite has come out ahead for the majority of its run.
This week’s Fight For The Fallen episode of AEW managed to draw 788,000 viewers, ahead of the 631,000 viewers that tuned in to watch NXT according to ShowBuzzDaily.
AEW also dominated in the 18-49 demographic, scoring a 0.29, compared to NXT which scored a 0.14 in the same demo.
This week at Fight For The Fall Chris Jericho cut a promo referring to himself as the “Demo God” and shortly after ratings came out for this week’s shows Jericho posted the following on Instagram:
“I did it again…. #DemoGod! Available NOW at shopaew.com!! @prowrestlingtees”
