A few weeks ago WWE announced that Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff would be taking on Executive Director roles with the company, and Bischoff was appointed Executive Director of SmackDown Live.
However, Eric Bischoff has yet to truly step into his new role, and F4Wonline.com is reporting that Bischoff was not at SmackDown Live in Worcester, MA on Tuesday night.
The report also notes that Eric Bischoff had zero impact on this week’s show, and he was not involved with any of the creative meetings.
Recently Eric Bischoff has been focused on moving to CT, but he admitted on his 83 Weeks podcast that he has a lot to learn when it comes to his new role.
“The honest answer is, I’ve got a lot to learn between now and the time I actually am fully integrated into the process, because the audience has changed. Television has changed. So much has changed over the last five or seven years that I’ve got some catching up to do. I’m not going to sugarcoat it.”
