Eric Bischoff On Possibly Filling The SmackDown GM Position, Moose Confirms ROH Departure

Moose has confirmed on Twitter that he is officially done with Ring of Honor. Where Moose goes from here remains a mystery but he is indeed a free agent now.

It’s been reported that Moose could be close to signing a deal with TNA, but it’s also been rumored recently that he’s received an offer from Lucha Underground as well.

Moose is a former New England Patriots player and he signed on with ROH back in 2014. Moose did well with the company and he’s built up a decent following over the past two years. He was expected to go to WWE once his deal with ROH ended, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it doesn’t look like that’s going to be happening in the near future.

Moose posted the following on Twitter confirming his departure:

With the WWE Brand Extension returning everyone’s talking about former stars returning as well. One star who you can definitely count out is Eric Bischoff.

Bischoff responded to a fan who said that he wants to see Eric Bischoff as the SmackDown GM and Bischoff told him it’s not going to happen.
