Epic Moments In Wrestling History: Eric Bischoff Becomes Raw General manager

No matter how long you’ve been watching wrestling for every fan has been able to experience moments that completely shock them. This was one of those moments.

Due to many years of WWE going head to head with WCW, Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff had seemingly developed a mutual hatred for each other. Both men were doing all that they could to drive the other out of business and in the end, Vince succeeded. After Vince McMahon purchased WCW many of the wrestlers on the WCW roster were hired by WWE but some of WCW’s biggest personalities (including Eric Bischoff) were nowhere to be found.

Vince McMahon has always been a businessman and he has always been willing to do what he has to do in order to shake things up. Hiring Eric Bischoff as the Raw GM was a move no one saw coming but it’s also a moment that no one will ever forget.
