Enzo Amore was unfortunately injured tonight during the opening match at WWE Payback. He teamed up with Big Cass to face The Vaudevillains and Simon Gotch whipped Enzo into the ropes and he hit his head on the ropes then fell awkwardly to the outside.
Enzo stopped moving after he fell on the ground and the referee called for the bell which caused the match to end in a no contest. Paramedics then tended to Enzo and carried him off on a stretcher while the commentators assured the fans that what happened to Enzo was a serious situation.

There’s currently no word on any specifics regarding Enzo’s injury. However, Michael Cole did provide an update and told fans that Enzo has been taken to a local medical facility in Chicago and that he is moving and talking.
