It’s been quite some time since Enzo Amore has wrestled a match, but the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion is set to return to the ring later this month.
Enzo took to Twitter to announce that he will be returning to the ring at Northeast Wrestling’s Prison Break event in Poughkeepsie, NY at the Mid Hudson Civic Center on August 16.
His opponent has yet to be announced, but he teased that he has some names in mind when he posted the following:
“I’m going back to the #MidHudsonCivicCenter the same place where I got in the ring for the last time, and I’m going back to defend what I never lost. I’ll haven’t agreed upon an opponent yet….. but I have a few in mind. #BestCruiserWeightInTheWorld”
Enzo last wrestled when he faced Cedric Alexander last year when he faced Cedric Alexander in January of 2018.
Other names being advertised for the event include Dustin Rhodes, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Pentagon Jr., Rey Fenix, David Arquette, Jon Moxley, Renee Young and more.
