Emma Set To Undergo Back Surgery

Earlier today WWE.com announced that Emma suffered an injury at a recent WWE live event and that she was undergoing tests to determine the extent of her injuries. WWE has now posted an update and they confirmed that Emma ruptured a disc in her back and she will need surgery. At this time it’s not known how long it will take her to recover. WWE posted the following:

“Emma has a ruptured disc that will require her to have surgery,” explained WWE ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson. “She came to us in a great deal of pain, which seemed to be increasing. She was then given an M.R.I., which revealed that further action would need to be taken. Unfortunately, the Superstar’s estimated recovery time cannot be determined until after her procedure is complete.”
