Just because a pro wrestler isn’t in WWE anymore doesn’t mean that they’re not going to keep working. But injuries never come at a convenient time and it looks like one former Raw Superstar had an unexpected setback.
Tenille Dashwood was better known as Emma in WWE but she quickly made a name for herself on the indie wrestling scene after her release. Since then, the former leader of the Emmalution and starter of the WWE Women’s Revolution joined ROH and everyone is excited to see the Austrailian beauty where ever she goes.
Dashwood was booked for the Remix Pro Wrestling show in Marietta, Ohio on Saturday night and she made the show. There was a line across the building to get a chance to meet Tenille and take a picture with her or get an autograph. But it turns out Tenille Dashwood traveled all that way just to make an appearance.
Tenille Dashwood was scheduled to face Britt Baker at the show but Tenille went to the ring and announced that she wouldn’t be able to wrestle. The woman formerly known as Emma said that her doctors didn’t even want her going to the show but she showed up and drew a great babyface reaction in the process.
Although Emma didn’t wrestle a match she did do commentary so you can expect to hear that when Remix puts out a DVD of the event. It is unfortunate that fans didn’t get to see Tenille Dashwood wrestle Britt Baker in what would have been a standout show on the card but at least she kept her appearance.
She didn’t specify what kind of injury she had and wasn’t saying much when asked about it but let’s hope it isn’t enough to keep her out of action for long. But at least she made the show and plenty of people were very happy to see her.
