The WWE Draft kicked off on Friday Night SmackDown this week and Triple H made his way to the podium at the beginning of the show to announce the first four picks. The Game announced that Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa were being drafted to SmackDown as one unit, and that Cody Rhodes would be drafted to Raw. He also confirmed that Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair would be going to SmackDown while Becky Lynch was selected for Raw.
Prior to the next round Rob Van Dam was shown coming out of a Raw draft room followed by Michael Hayes coming out of a SmackDown draft room prior to the commercial break. They made their way out to the podium to reveal the picks for the second round of the WWE Draft.
Michael Hayes announced that The Street Profits were the first pick of the second round and that they would be going to SmackDown. The fans greeted Rob Van Dam with a loud “RVD” chant and he said it was fantastic to see them too. RVD then announced that Imperium had been drafted to Raw as a unit.
The draft continued as Michael Hayes revealed that Edge would be drafted to SmackDown. The final pick was RVD announcing Matt Riddle for Monday Night Raw.
