When someone has a great run with any pro wrestling company the common theme is that they receive some kind of send-off when they leave. This was no different in the case of Ethan Carter III who first came into Impact Wrestling as Dixie Carter’s spoiled nephew back when they were TNA.
Now that EC 3 is no longer with Impact Wrestling he is not only signed with WWE, but he’s already making towns with the NXT roster. There could also be a pretty big match coming up for him at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans but I’m not going to spoil anything here.
However, this article is about a spoiler in a way because Impact Wrestling is now promoting the show which features EC 3’s last match. Only due to the fact Ethan Carter III already showed up at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia it gives fans little hope that he will be one of the people “feasting” after the Feast Or Fired match coming up on Impact Wrestling.
When Impact started promoting this upcoming match it was flooded by people online throwing out spoilers or just announcing the fact that it’s kind of a moot point to tease who might feast or who could be fired because the result has kind of already been spoiled by the internet.
Impact Wrestling noticed how this post started killing it and commented in due time. But of course, EC 3 also saw this post and just had to comment for himself. It is probably very good for him to see that his old stomping grounds was able to get one more push of publicity from him before his final show.
It also had to mean a lot to him considering how it all went down. After WWE essentially told Carter they didn’t want him anymore he dusted himself off, dropped the Derrick Bateman name, and started a brand new career in Dixie Carter Land. Now the time has come for him to go back to WWE and EC 3 has nothing but great memories behind him as he steps back into the WWE Universe to give it another try. Except for this time he’s got a much bigger name behind him thanks to Impact Wrestling and he obviously hasn’t forgotten that fact either.
