Drew McIntyre Wins WWE Men’s Elimination Chamber Match

This year’s Elimination Chamber premium live event kicked off with the women’s Elimination Chamber match and Becky Lynch punched her ticket for WrestleMania when she picked up the win.

The men’s Elimination Chamber match aired before the main event and Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, Logan Paul, LA Knight, Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton all competed for the opportunity to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40.

The match kicked off with LA Knight and Drew McIntyre inside the ring. The fans yelled out “YEAH!” every time LA Knight landed a move or strike then when Drew McIntyre got the upper hand the fans chanted for CM Punk. Kevin Owens was the third competitor to enter the match.

Bobby Lashley joined the match next and he immediately targeted Drew McIntyre. Randy Orton entered fifth and quickly took down LA Knight then Kevin Owens. The Viper hit his middle rope DDT outside the ring to the chamber floor and lost his momentum as he sold a back injury. The commentators played up that Orton was seriously hurt as he was barely moving on the mat. Orton hit a belly to back suplex on LA Knight then sold the back injury even more.

Logan Paul was last to enter the match as Kevin Owens was waiting at his pod. Owens pushed Paul back into the pod as he slammed him into it. Owens then slammed Owens into the chains before throwing him back into, then back out of the ring. As KO was beating on Logan Paul, Bobby Lashley grabbed Owens and threw him through a pod. Lashley then set his sights on Logan Paul as he speared the United States Champion through a pod. The fans chanted “thank you Bobby!” Drew McIntyre then hit Lashley with a Claymore and rolled him back into the ring. Lashley fought with LA Knight for a minute, but McIntyre delivered another Claymore to Lashley then followed up with a pin to eliminate Lashley from the match.

LA Knight hit the BFT on McIntyre then went for the pin. However, as the referees were trying to get Lashley out AJ Styles entered the chamber and broke up the pin when he hit LA Knight with a steel chair. Styles hit Knight with a Styles Clash on the chair then McIntyre pinned LA Knight to eliminate him.

Kevin Owens was the next to go as Randy Orton took him out with the RKO. Logan Paul hit a crossbody off the top of the pod onto Drew McIntyre then pulled out brass knuckles as the fans booed. Paul was posing with the knuckles when Randy Orton hit him with the RKO out of nowhere then eliminated him to bring it down to two.

Orton hit his middle rope DDT on McIntyre then signaled for the RKO. He went for the RKO, but Drew McIntyre reversed it into a spinebuster then went for the Claymore. However, McIntyre stopped because Orton collapsed as McIntyre was running out of the corner. Orton struggled to get up, but he managed to hit a RKO out of nowhere once again. It seemed that Randy had it won then Logan Paul hit The Viper with the brass knuckles and McIntyre got the pin to win the match.
