The men’s Royal Rumble match featured some interesting surprises, and it came down to Edge, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. After Kevin Owens, Aleister Black and Samoa Joe chased off AOP and Buddy Murphy on the outside of the ring, all of the remaining competitors teamed up and took turns beating up Rollins.
Drew McIntyre hit him with the claymore and threw him over the top bringing it down to Edge, McIntyre, Orton and Reigns for the final four.
Edge and Orton formed an alliance and teamed up, but eventually Orton tried to turn on Edge. Edge caught him in the act and threw Orton over the top.
Roman Reigns and Edge went over the top and they were fighting on the apron. Reigns knocked Edge off and eliminated him.
The Big Dog then battled McIntyre one on one, but Drew hit him with the claymore and threw him over the top to win the match.
Earlier in the match Drew McIntyre eliminated Brock Lesnar by knocking him out of the ring with the claymore, so it appears that McIntyre vs. Lesnar is being set up for Mania.
He fought his way back to @WWE, and now he's officially on the ROAD to #WrestleMania!
