Last week the AEW Revolution pay-per-view aired live, and the finish to the show got fans talking for all the wrong reasons. After Kenny Omega defeated Jon Moxley in the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch Eddie Kingston sacrificed himself to save Jon Moxley from an impending explosion, but the explosion was a dud.
Drew McIntyre seemingly referenced the botched explosion on Monday Night Raw this week when he said the following during a promo:
“I noticed that MVP made some guarantees tonight. That’s such a dangerous thing to do in this industry. If you make a guarantee and don’t deliver, fans get upset and sparks fly.”
Drew McIntyre will face Sheamus at the Fastlane pay-per-view on Sunday, and it’s been confirmed that he will be challenging Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 37.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
