The last few days have been interesting for Drew McIntyre as he recently teamed with The Judgment Day to face Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn & Jey Uso in a WarGames match at Survivor Series. Unfortunately for Drew his team didn’t win the match, and video footage of Drew storming out of the arena has been making the rounds on social media. It was later reported that McIntyre stormed into the back then put on a hoodie and immediately left the venue after making his way to the back.

Drew McIntyre has been focused on winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and he got another chance to win the gold when he faced off against Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura in a triple threat match at the WWE live event in Peoria, IL on Sunday. Ahead of the title match a backstage video aired which showed Drew briefly referencing the reports.
“If you’ve been watching the show, you know why I didn’t win the World Title recently, WarGames last night — my stupid team lost the match for me. You’ve heard things probably on the internet, I’m not in a great place, but there is one thing that can turn this frown upside down, that can change things for me. It’s getting that World Title.”

Drew McIntyre is clearly still targeting the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but it seems that there may be other contenders looking to step up as both CM Punk and Randy Orton have been confirmed for Raw tonight. One way or another tonight’s episode of Raw is sure to be an interesting show.
Stay tuned for updates.
