Friday’s episode of SmackDown aired live from the Moda Center in Portland, OR and Drew McIntyre put the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line when he defended the belt against Cody Rhodes in the main event.

Near the end of the match Drew McIntyre attempted to hit Cody Rhodes with a steel chair while the referee was down, but Jacob Fatu appeared out of nowhere and pulled the chair out of Drew’s hands. Cody rolled Drew up for a two count and after a few back and forth moves Cody eventually connected with the Cross Rhodes as he defeated Drew to win the Undisputed WWE Championship for the third time in his career.

Following his loss on SmackDown, Drew finally broke his silence when he posted a simple thumbs down emoji on X.

Last week Randy Orton punched his ticket to WrestleMania when he won the men’s Elimination Chamber match, and it’s been confirmed that he will be challenging The American Nightmare for the Undisputed WWE Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

As of right now it’s not clear who Drew will be facing at WrestleMania 42, but all signs seem to be pointing toward a potential match with Jacob Fatu.
